The Awakening and the Formation of the Pact

At the beginning of the first recorded cycle, Jinjarans awoke into a world following a nameless cataclysm that shattered the world. They came to consciousness with no memory of what transpired before. As survivors, they began the arduous process of rebuilding, but soon found themselves caught in a struggle for existence.

As mortals began to explore, a fragile boundary between realms was exposed. Conflict erupted between mortals and spirits as it was discovered that their worlds overlapped — a consequence of the Fracture. This "Spirit War" threatened to unravel the very islands themselves, until the final standoff between the mortal and spirit worlds.

Neru Dolah, one of the Primarchs, met a Great Spirit in a devastating battle that reached a sudden, silent impasse. In that moment of stillness, the spirit revealed itself as Obara. Rather than continuing the path of destruction, a truce was brokered. Established alongside the houses of Tahlama, Angalo, and Katro, this agreement became known as U'Naim Ana, or "The Pact." It granted mortals protection and established laws and norms, forever intertwining the destinies of the living and the dead. Today, life in Jinjara is governed by the Wheel, with each cycle returning souls to Obara to be reborn, while the memories of the old world remain echoing shadows behind the veil.
