Module Template
Duplicate this folder to start a new module ยท then mark it ๐ Fluid
How to use this
Copy pages/modules/_module-template/ to pages/modules/<your-slug>/, then fill in the sections below and swap the marker to ๐ Fluid. Build each scene by duplicating scene-template (and NPCs from npc-template) into the same folder, keeping links relative. Finally, add a card for the module to the Modules hub. Delete this box when you're done.

Premise
TODO โ the situation the party walks into, in a paragraph. Ground it in canon (a House, a spirit, a custom) without restating the bible. End on the concrete reason they're here.
Behind the screen โ the truth
TODO โ what's really happening, the hidden motives, and the secret the quest-giver (or the world) is keeping. Note any canon a knowledgeable NPC would name that the party won't.
Ways to win. TODO โ the obvious resolution and at least one alternative (a rite, a bargain, a betrayal), and what each seeds for later.
Hooks โ getting them in
- Coin / contract. TODO โ the mercenary reason.
- A personal thread. TODO โ the reason for a PC with the right tie.
- A strange sign. TODO โ the eerie reason that pulls the curious.
Scene Flow
TODO โ the scenes in rough order, as cards linking to their run-pages. Duplicate the block below per scene.
Scene One
TODO โ one-line description: the arrival, the beat, the encounter band.
iiScene Two
TODO โ the middle: complication, investigation, or the crawl.
iiiScene Three
TODO โ the climax and how it resolves.
Key NPC: TODO โ link the quest-giver / antagonist page here.
Session Clock
TODO โ if the module runs on a clock (a tide, a ritual, a pursuit), describe it here and how to advance it. Delete this section if the module isn't timed.
Reading the clock
TODO โ what each segment means and when the party should start to feel the pressure.
Encounter Budget
TODO โ state the party (size ร level) and the 2024 DMG per-character XP budget for it, then tag each fight to a band. Level references: per character, Low/Moderate/High XP ร party size = your targets.
| Scene | Encounter | Roster | XP | Band |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| i | TODO | TODO | โ | Low |
| ii | TODO | TODO | โ | Moderate |
| iii | TODO (climax) | TODO | โ | High |
Monster Roster
TODO โ the custom blocks this module needs, all ๐ Fluid. Full stats live in the scene where each is used.
| Creature | Type | CR | XP | Block in |

Rewards & Advancement
- Coin. TODO โ the fee and any found treasure.
- Salvage / items. TODO โ one item to fit your table.
- Advancement. TODO โ milestone level, or the XP total split across the party.
- The soft reward. TODO โ the favour, ally, or thread earned by the clever ending.
Scaling Your Table
- Fewer / fragile players. TODO โ what to cut or soften.
- More / hardened players. TODO โ what to add.
- Running long? TODO โ the optional scene to drop.
- Different table style? TODO โ how to reskin toward more or less combat.
Canon Touchpoints
TODO โ link the canon pages this module leans on, so it stays consistent (referenced, never restated):
- Canon hub โ link the specific entries (House, spirit, custom) this module uses.
