The name

Sanguine is not a boast about blood spilled. Unåia’s own sacred ground is a burial forest of bone-white trees with scarlet leaves, and the order is named for it. To an outsider the word lands as a threat. To an Inquisitor it is the name of the place their dead are laid.

Neither of them is wrong, and neither will correct the other. Play the gap: a party that hears “Sanguine” and braces is reading it exactly the way the order has never once bothered to discourage.

What they say

Why these belong to the order and not to one man

The wax, the coat, the resin, the thanking, the refusal to lie, the signature: all of them were Nahu Serrin’s personal habits first. Promoting them to the order is what lets a party recognise an Inquisitor they have never met — and it means the recognisability survives when Serrin does not.
